Hi! I’m Emily, the heart behind Learning and Blooming.
I am a former elementary school teacher who is excited to begin a new chapter as an early childhood specialist, supporting young learners from Pre-K through 2nd grade. My passion has always been helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills during these important early years.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with an emphasis in Child and Youth Development, as well as a Master’s in Teaching and a Washington State Elementary Education Teaching Certificate. My background in both child development and classroom teaching allows me to meet each child where they are academically and provide instruction that is both developmentally appropriate and effective.
I specialize in providing explicit, meaningful instruction in one-on-one or small group settings.
